Please join the Forbes House Museum in recognizing Richard O’Mara at the 2025 Keechong Dinner The Keechong Dinner is the Forbes House Museum’s signature fundraising event, providing vital support for its educational, cultural and family/community programming. CIVIC LEADERSHIP AWARD Richard O’Mara has been involved in a wide range of organizations vital to the greater Boston community, including Beth Israel Hospital–Milton, the Neponset River Watershed Association, Dot Out and the Lower Mills Merchants Association. As owner of Cedar Grove Gardens, he’s also been a generous supporter of the Forbes House Museum over the years. Richard’s deep and longstanding commitment to philanthropy, social action and entrepreneurship clearly reflect the museum’s mission. OUR MISSION Inspired by the Forbes family legacy of entrepreneurship, philanthropy and social action, the Forbes House Museum fosters discourse around civic engagement and cultural awareness. INTRODUCING THE FORBES HOUSE MUSEUM FHM EXEMPLARY SERVICE AWARD Joann Sacco first served the Forbes House Museum as a Community Relations Coordinator, and spent many more years championing the museum as a volunteer. Hundreds of visitors have benefited from Joann’s deep knowledge of the Forbes family history and her passion for sharing her knowledge through guided house tours, events and special programs.
